Paula Badosa beats Andrea Petković

Spainard Paula Badosa defeated her opponent Andrea Petković in the first round of Serbia Ladies Open main draw, with 6:2, 6:3. After the match, Paula stated that Andrea was a good opponent, as well as that she is satisfied with how she played during the match.
Speaking about the performance in Madrid, Paula said that now, one week later, she is happy and proud, that she played well, and that she needed rest before the next tournament.
“The smartest decision now would be to rest a bit, and then prepare well for this tournament. I miss Rome, but I think that it would be a good decision not to participate in the tournament in Rome,” Paula stated.
Paula also said that she is satisfied with her performance this year, and that it is one of her goals to play every match as best she can, to achieve progress every day, and to be the best version of herself.
