Radivojević: The great experience of playing in Belgrade

Radivojević: The great experience of playing in Belgrade

Lola Radivojević played two matches at the Serbia Ladies Open tournament. Despite the loss in the single against Viktoriya Tomova 2:0 (6:2, 6:3) and in the doubles, paired with Ivana Jorović, with whom she played against Dalila Dabrowski (CAN) and Yana Sizikova (RUS) 2:0 (6:0, 6:1), Radivojević was in a good mood and happy to participate in this WTA tournament.

“This was a great experience for me, I’m sad that I didn’t win, but I fought until the end. Even though there was no audience, the support of the people from the club was noticeable, they were loud and they cheered for me. Participating in this tournament will help me in my further career, I will continue training and I know I can play even better,” says Lola Radivojević.

Lola was a member of the Živković Tennis Academy in Niš, and is now a member of the Novak Tennis  Academy.

“Transferring from Živković Academy to Novak Academy is truly a great step for me. I had to move at some point, there were better conditions for development, career, but I have memories in Niš, I’m from that city, and I sometimes return home to train.”

Briefly on plans:

“Currently, junior Roland-Garros awaits me, I will play a few more junior tournaments and slowly switch to senior tournaments.”
